What is a Taser Gun? How About Using It for Self Defense?

 taser gun
A taser gun is sometimes named a taser. It is basically an electroshock device used for self defense. There are many non lethal self defense weapons available in the market, and taser is one of them.

It does not inflict serious injuries, but does cause enough temporary damage to save you from the attackers. So, would you use it as your weapon for self defense? Yes, you should be using it. It offers several self defense advantages that other weapons don’t!

A Non Lethal Weapon

A taser gun is actually a non lethal weapon like many other self defense weapons out there. It does not feature a blade and does not even fire a bullet.

It fires two electrodes that can only give temporary damage. It only causes an electrical shock to immobilize the attacker. No real injury is caused to him.

The Damage?

The damage done by a taser is not ever severe. It does inflict a temporary damage. For instance, it can deliver a strong electrical shock to immobilize the attacker but it never causes a severe injury. So, the damage is real but temporary, and not permanent.

How to Use a Taser?

A taser gun is one of the simplest weapons to use. It features a trigger mechanism and we all know how easy it is to use a trigger. You can pull the trigger to shoot electrodes and those electrodes travel to touch the body of the attacker and immobilize him.

Taser Vs Other Electroshock Weapons

A Taser is far better than all other electroshock weapons such as a stun gun. The main reason behind that is the distance to which the electrodes can travel.

As you pull the trigger to shoot electrodes, those electrodes go to touch the attacker’s body. You can stay at a safe distance unlike a stun gun which requires you to touch his body with the prongs.

The Best Self Defense Weapon - Taser

A taser gun is easily the best self defense weapon. It is small and easy to carry in the pocket. It is also very easy and simple to use. Also, it keeps you at a safe distance from the attacker!
